Thomas began serving as Director of Retirement Operations for Carson’s Advanced Solutions Team in 2024. In this role, he assists our partners and, subsequently, our clients by developing or reviewing materials, managing special projects, collaborating with vendors, identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement and ensuring high quality work.

Thomas is a graduate of Oregon State University with a double major in finance and management along with a minor in economics. Thomas began his career at an RIA firm as a Retirement Plan Analyst and was then promoted to director of retirement plan operations. He currently holds the Chartered Financial Analyst™ designation.

Outside of work, Thomas enjoys spending time outdoors, including hiking and playing soccer. Thomas also loves spending time with his wife, daughter and their two cats. He enjoys exploring new ideas and learning about the world around him. Thomas chose to work at Carson because he loves to find small changes to people’s financial plans that have large effects on their financial lives.
